I usually hate cream, but this was completely different to the standard.

The whipped cream in this tasted so fresh. Gateau Triple Berry ($6.50) – Really, really good. Grilled Chicken Wrap with Fries ($13) – Something was off with the greens in the wrap, maybe not that fresh? Not sure, but the fries were decent. It’s a bit cheesy, but in a good way.Ĭlassic Fettuccine Alfredo ($14.95) – This was a bit of a let down, it lacked flavor and was bland.īaby Back Ribs – Half Rack ($17.95) – Tender but flavor again wasn’t the best. Killer Shrimp Pasta ($15.95) – It was super delicious, the shrimp was tender and yes it did have some spice which was exactly what I wanted. Ordered the Killer Shrimp Pasta, Classic Fettuccine Alfredo, Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Chicken Wrap, Gateau Triple Berry, Strawberry Nutella Croissant, Éclair and Mango Smoothie. So two orders later, and a good sample of items on. Well Amandine had so many options in terms of food, and that Killer Shrimp Pasta really was key in getting me to order from here in the first place. While their pastry case usually empties out in the morning, their cake spread is usually kept full with plenty of pretty cakes and tarts. Being a creature of habit, I still only go to the Brentwood one though. Of course, nothing is sacred in LA, and what once was a neighborhood gem has now extended to 4 locations. The customers feel like regulars, locals. There’s something about the un-fancy atmosphere in here that is so appealing. The ivy-covered storefront is pretty charming, but I usually rolled in from the back door, parking behind the back patio. A place I would frequently stop by on the way home to bring treats for the family. Back in my college days, it quickly became a tried and true favorite. Amandine began as an intimate neighborhood cafe and bakery serving the Brentwood area.
